hi friends!!!
Rom Rom ji
As you know about me i am managing this site.I'm also currently doing Masters in Information Technology at University of Ballarat,Victoria,Australia. I'm in my final semester now and would be graduating in july next year.
The reason I'm starting this thread is to help others who decide to further their studies here in the Australia. I know the dilemna prospective students face when they decide to come to the overseas. There's hardly anybody who they can look at for advice. I think being here in the Australia I can be of immense help to my gurjar Bhai's and friends.
So please feel free to ask me for anything if u have any queries.
Being thousands of miles away from our land, i feel an extra responsibilty to do something for my people and for my community.
I've been doing and will always do whatever I can for my people and my community and hope that one day ours will be the most prosperous and most respected community.
thanks and regards Manvinder Adhana

hi Vikram,
how r u?i hope u must be doing well. It's good to know that you want to send your younger cousin to Australia.dear IT is a vast field there are so many courses here in IT.it's not like India that we have only BCA,BIT,BIS etc. Here we have course according to student interests like if a student feels he is good in networking then here we have bachelor degree in networking and all. So dear first ask him what he really wants to do,where he would like to study sydney or melbourne, does he have any particular university in mind etc? i would reckon first you think a bit what do u want for him, just saying he wants to do a IT course doesn't make much sense. write me in detail in which area of IT he is interested, location priority and all.Write me in detail then i will guide you step by step.I feel if he is in XIIth now then he can come here in next november intake.
thanks and regards Manvinder Adhana

hi sachin, how r u?I hope you must be doing well. There was really good chances for fresh IT graduates in Australia two-three yrs back. But now a days Australia is also outsourcing it's IT jobs to India so it's really hard to get a job in IT for a fresher.Even i am going to graduate in July 2006 from Australia itself but i see very less opportunites here.Ya still there is some scope for IT guys who have experience of more than five yrs in Network Security or SAP. But u can try in Newzeland or some europen countries like Norway,Sweden etc there still there is good scope for IT graduates. As jagat asked me about Accountancy, yes there is really good scope for Accountany in australia at the moment. But u must have completed CA or MBA/Finance for getting a job in Australia. If You have the above qualification then you can apply online on different accounting jobs on www.seek.com.au.Good luck buddy thanks and regards Manvinder Adhana

Hi Sanjay,
How r you doing buddy?I hope you must be doing well.MBA is reputed degree everyewhere.Australia is becoming a hot destination for MBA programs. Here you will have lot of options for specialisation in MBA like MBA(Information Systems),MBA(Finance),MBA(Marketing),MBA(Professional Accounting) a lot more.It means you will good options here. Almost every university run the MBA program but a few universities have world reputaion for it's MBA Programs like University of Melbourne,Monash University and RMIT university etc.If you do a MBA program from above universites then the approx. cost of ur MBA including accomdation and all would be around Rs. 20,00,000-25,00,000.If you will do a part time job then u can partially covered ur living expenses. But If you will do MBA from an average university like Victoria univ,CQU etc then cost could be reduced around $15,00,000-$20,00,000 Wish you good luck for ur B.tech and wish you a happy new Yr.
