Dear all,
there was a huge public movement in Rajasthan (at Hindaun City) for coming in ST category.
they put a jam on Railway Track on 3rd september for some 12 hours in the leadership of retd. Col. Kirodi.
The protestesters had the issue that the Vasundhra Raje (CM of Rajasthan) did not forwarded the letter containing all the details to central govt.
I am still trying to get more exact information.

Can anyone clarify that why there is a huge protest...... whether we want to come in st or there is resistance!!
Its my personal view that we should not be reserved as per caste. If we think that we were royals and our caste is above all castes then we should not go for the kind of reservation we are having. I have faced it and knows that as our caste is in OBC we are falling lower than Rajputs and i know that we are far above than those people if we go as per our history.

Dear All,
The recent protest is because of including Gurjars in ST Category, of which Vashundhra Raje has given words previously to atleast forward the demand to centre.
Recent news, all the MLA's in govt has resigned. People are protesting with the bodies of dead (14 in no). Lately, Gurjar Mahasabha has accepted the offer to talk with the govt..
