Today I had chat conversation with a young member, producing you these questions answer, may solve your question if you are seeking for it.(MALE URINARY PROBLEM)
Q1.Dr Saab I have a problem please tell me the treatment, ‘Whenever I pass urine after completion of urination the drops of Semen is lost per act’
Ans1.This is not a pathology (disease).this is normal process every person after passing urine passes some greasy colorless fluid which is prostates secretion, this secretion is necessary for urethra(the urine tube through which we passes urine) to be lubricated.
Q2.I am suffering from this problem since last one year, now I am feeling tired about this problem I have tried many hakims and vaidyas they provided me treatment and told me the loss of my memory and concentration is due to loss of semen. Whatever treatment they provided went unsuccessful .Some of my friends told me that my semen is more liquefied (virya patala ho Gaya hai) so I should go for treatment promptly.
Ans2 this all is due to your believe in traditional thought of Bramhacharya (celibacy) which is never related with semen loss. ‘The Fear of semen loss’ is also known as ‘DHAT SYNDROME’ which is a fear expressed by people of Hindu ethnicity, False Fear About the semen loss, That due to masturbation, emissions, and excessive sex,is responsible for debility and weakness and may cause loss of memory and concentration. In some rural back ground it is attributed to loss of vision and loss of potency. Fearfully concludes that he may not be able to marriage .Ayurvedic medical system considers semen loss very harmful in traditional Hindu spirituality, semen is described as a 'vital fluid'. The discharge of this 'vital fluid', either through sex or masturbation, is associated with marked feelings of anxiety and dysphoria. This is based on an old Hindu belief that it takes forty drops of blood to create a drop of bone marrow and forty drops of bone marrow to create a drop of semen (sperm). Often the patient describes the loss of a whitish fluid while passing urine, which is not semen but prostate serration and it is never harmful, even if the semen lost does not cause any harm.
Q3.but why I am losing my memory and concentration?
Ans3.Becouse you are in excessive thinking about your guilty consciousness feeling of semen loss. This thought is deep seated in your mind, and the worrying symptoms make you to feel about memory loss and loss of concentration. Watching of per day, act of urination in squatting position which is traditional Indian style you observes passes of semen like fluid after act this makes you in anxiety and distress increases rate of heart beating(palpitation) easy fatigability(tiredness) insomnia(loss of sleep), low mood, guilt and other anxiety symptoms, In western commode pot during passing of stool or straining no body watches act of urination and never cares for that, although they have the same process, which is normal phenomena. you should not worry about this symptom.
Q4.If after urination colorless greasy fluid secreted is not semen then what is the semen?
Ans4.the semen is the discharge which is passed on emissions on masturbation or during ejaculation during sexual intercourse, and sometimes in night dreams when somebody meets the dream girl. The semen is thick white colored viscous fluid. The discharge of semen in nightdreames is not an interruption in celibacy (bramhacharya) life. The bramhacharya is related to male virginity where physical contract to woman is prohibited. Other somatic symptoms of Males sometimes report a subjective feeling (false feeling this does not happens actually) that their thingyes have shortened, or curved or any other deformity. Most of them come with the complaints of "drops...” and become extremely anxious about it and sought like loss of "male power form of a syndrome of "semen-loss anxiety" which also occurs in other Eastern cultures as ‘jiryan’ and ‘shen-k'uei’, as well as in Western cultures. The loss of semen is not at all related with any of the symptom .for example the frequency of male sexual act defined in dictum may appear correct and do not interfere with power loss, or other symptoms described as above. The dictum about male frequency is “In twenties din aur raat, in thirties raat he raat, in forties alternate raat, in fifties chandni raat. In sixties kabhi mulaqat. In seventies baat hi baat .in eighties he say gandi baat.”
Meaning of this dictum is that after age of twenty male usually performs act and thinks it all over day and night period, in thirties he becomes limited to night, in forties he may involve alternate night, in fifties age he may indulge in fifteen day to monthly, in sixties age he may accidentally meet in a year, but it is mostly correct that he develop aversion to sex in eighties life and invariably say to the talk bad thing (buri baat)
Q5.Dr you say that concept of ayuarveda is now false and one should not worry about the symptoms of semen loss.
Ans5. I am not saying the ayurveda in incorrect but some concepts are misinterpreted “a student asks to his teacher to tell that how much sex may be performed The teacher replied that once in life. The student asked again if this is not sufficient for particular then, the teacher replied that whatever number of issue you wants you can do as much times, more then this if you wants then dig your graveyard and do whatever times you wants.
Is this possible that men can follow this schedule? I think this is not possible. And this story is misinterpreted the simple meaning of this story is to control over the desire.

BRAMHACHRYA, and Chastity
Since ancient culture, sexual behavior of man remained a controversial Issue. Different thoughts were given, by various social, religious, spiritual, aesthetic, thinkers, this is due to changing scenario existed in different periods of history, and in different sociocultural behavior. In Indian thinking of rishis, the one side of coin says total abstinence from sexual behavior even thought of sex is disregarded.
While on other side of coin KAMASHASTRAs was written, AJANTA ELLORA, and KHAJURAHOcaves were created, and CHARVAAK the thinker of EAT DRINK BE MARRY AND DIE gave his thought to the society.
Although both above thought appears contradictory to each other, like every coin that have its two aspects (har sikke ke do pahalu hote hain) here on deep thinking both thought appears correct at different situation.
In initial 25yrs (bramhacharya) life or in immature age if a person is not restricted from sexual activity apart from disoriented from achieving goal of education he may be indulge in diseases like STD, AIDS, immoral life, crime (rape, homosexuality, prostitution, bestiality or other form of unnatural sex) or she may get pregnant .the teenage premarital pregnancy is shame for parents more risky to individual girl and restriction in future good marriage. If the student ones involved in sexual activity, he or she may find difficult to refrain themselves from activity. On the other hand in Grihasth ashram the husband and wife are allowed to have sexual intercourse as per desire of couple’s interest (according to medical science and religiously safe). Hence Charvak thoughts and teaching of Kamasutra with exhibition of, caves of Ajanta ellora and khajuraho appeared, even in ancient culture, because it is the responsibility of each partner to sexually satisfy each other. The excessive sexual behavior which is prohibited denotes to the couple who performs sexuality with other than husband or wife (promiscuity which is unsafe according to medical science and religiously).
REASONS WHY SEXUAL DESIRE SO STRONG The sexual desire ‘LUST’ is one of strongest desire among five primary Impulses i.e.Kam (sex), Kroadha (anger), Madh (madness ego), Lobha (greed), Moha (Affection) According to shastra’s the impulse are basic natural instincts which are to be kept in control, the diversion of the direction of these impulses can be achieved by spiritual and religious thinking only. The sexual activity is a strong irresistible, difficult to control, natural (biological), instinct, of organism. By this process of sexual reproduction every organism protects his species from extinction and becomes immortal. It is programmed inside every organism by Nature (religiously say god) for progression of species. The sexual behavior remained a major reason behind ancient and past wars, human conflicts and cut throat heinous, bloody competition leading to crimes, and still present, will remain fore ever. According to shastra it was very difficult to even rishis to have control over this desire. The human is among the rarest organism whether male or female who may remain sexually active throughout the year .otherwise other animals are sexually active only when estrous cycle appears in female. Due to this estrous cycle animals are sexually active only for certain period in a year. , in human the activity if not controlled, they will not abstain from sexual activity due to behavior of sexual activity throughout the year, and the whole life may be lost purposeless.
Purpose (Goal) of life
According to some individuals the Purpose ( Goal) of life may be i.e. Courage, Persistence, Love, Creativity, Dreams and Aspiration, Happiness and joy, religious goal to get into heavon,Earn a lot of money, Sexual pleasure, and others say that it is intended to evaluate your progress and inspire further progress in the realization of your life purpose. Every one deals with one aspect of life no one provides complete solution. Solution to this problem is only found in Ancient VEDAS, in four Vedas the Purpose (Goal) of life The Balanced Aim of life which includes all above in planned way given by VEDAS (the purpose of life) is divided into four purusharthas, Dharma (religion), Artha (earn money), Kama (work and sex), and Moksha(achieving divine stage of heaven). The life cycle also was divided, in four Ashram’s, to achieve above goals Initial 25 yrs as bramhacharya ashram, Next 25 yrs as Grihasth ashram, after middle 25 yrs as Vanprasth ashram and last 25 yrs as Sanyas ashram
In the Bramhacharya ashram one should complete its education for future life, the students after childhood were sent to gurukulas and the education was provided there. The students in the bramhacharya period are in teen age and in early youthful life, they have a weak and controllable desire for sexual activity. They have few opportunities for sex may be able to maintain themselves as virgins till marriage, and always advised to divert the thinking of sexuality towards gaining knowledge.
For non-Brahmachari those with stronger desires and more opportunities would find it difficult to abstain from premarital sexuality. In modern life the emergence of AIDS, the sexually transmitted disease has created the demand to be Brahmachari (abstinent) life which is only solution to problem. I am giving the example of U.S Bush government
Over the last decade, abstinence-only sex education became more common in the U.S., largely as a result of federal government funding initiatives. Through direct funding and matching grant incentives, the U.S. government steered more than a billion dollars to abstinence-only education programs between 1996 and 2006 .> Abstinence-only sex education - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ways to Express Love without Sex before marriage
there are millions of nonsexual ways to show someone you like them. You can show a person you care for them by spending time with them. Go to the movies. Or just hang out and talk. If you are with someone you really like, then anything can be fun. There are other ways to feel physically close without having sex. These ways include everything from kissing and hugging to touching and petting each other. Just remember that if you're not careful these activities can lead to sex. Plan beforehand just how far you want to go, and stick to your limits. It can be difficult to say NO and mean it when things get hot and heavy.
What is abstinence?
Abstinence The word for not having sex is called abstinence. The teenage years bring a lot of changes, he or she feels about themselves, No matter what their feelings on sex are, it may be smart to wait until something "feels right.” to be married. The premarital sexuality should be avoided.
Some teenagers and youths, especially think it's not good to wait to have sex they performs premarital sex, they think that abstinence is a completely bad thing. Actually, there are some really good things about abstinence and some of them might apply to everybody They should also have to think about their own personal values and feelings.
Abstinence according to Hindu religion is ‘the voluntary restraint from indulging a desire or appetite for certain bodily activities that are widely experienced as giving pleasure’. Most frequently, the term refers to Abstinence from sexual intercourse, alcohol or food. The practice can arise from religious prohibitions or practical considerations. Abstinence has diverse forms.
Commonly it refers to a temporary or partial abstinence from food, as in fasting. Because, the regimen is intended to be a conscious act, freely chosen to enhance life, it is the way to have control on indriyas (five senses) to achieve Goal of life .In the bramhacharya life if student has control on his desires, he must divert his all desires in direction to complete his education. The abstinence which is complete, voluntary restraint from indulging sexual activity termed as Celibacy. Either to being unmarried, or to sexual abstinence. Celibacy is sometimes used as a synonym for "abstinence" or "chastity."
What are various reasons of ABSTINANCE (celibacy)
Sexual abstinence is the practice of voluntarily refraining from some or all aspects of sexual activity. Common reasons to deliberately abstain from the physical expression of sexual desire include 1. Religious reasons ABSTINANCE (celibacy)are practiced by priests, saints, of religion or any one who wants to achieve spiritual goal. In VEDAS this way is advised for Sanyas ashram life. In Buddhism, the main goal of living according to the celibate is to eliminate desire. Desire is seen as one of the main causes of suffering, both in the world as in the mind or heart. A commonly-used metaphor sees desire, especially sexual desire, to be like drinking salty water: the more one consumes, the greater the desire - and the worse one's (mental) state of health becomes. . All the spiritual leaders have been true celibates. Jesus, SankaraCharya, Swami Dayananda Samarth Guru Ramdas Swami Dayananda were all celibates. It is worth repeating that a true celibate possesses tremendous energy, a clear brain, gigantic will-power, bold understanding, retentive memory and good Vichara Sakti (power of enquiry, concentration). Swami Dayananda stopped the carriage of a Maharaja (great king). He broke the sword with his hands. This was due to his power of celibacy
2. Philosophical reasons (e.g. chastity), means the act of not to be promiscuous, having sex only with the person to whom he or she is married. This type of sexual abstinence is advised for Grihasth ashram. Mahatma Gandhi Ji, Swami Ramkrishna paramhans the Guru of swami Vivekananda also bowed for celibacy belonged to philosophical reasons.
3. Material reasons to prevent conception (undesired pregnancy) may be practiced where one couple do not desire for further issue, This is the way which is advised for certain duration(abstinence usually 10th day to18th day) during menstrual cycle month by many persons to family planning (contraception
4. To prevent STD disease transmission, Abstinence from promiscuity.
5. psycho-sociological reasons (e.g. clinical depression, social anxiety disorder), mental deceases injunction negative past experiences, or to conform to legal
Why ABSTINANCE (celibacy) is required
According to, a study in U.S.A. Every year 3 million teens, about 1 in 4 sexually active teens-get a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD). Chlamydia and gonorrhea are more common among teens aged 15-19 than any other age group. In 2005, research showed nearly half of high school students have had sex. Some studies show that up to 15% of sexually active teenage women are infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV), many with the type of HPV that is linked to cervical cancer (cancer in the part of female genital area ‘uterus’)
When we try to cross the ancient boundaries, led by our ancestors (laxman rekha for sexual behavior) absolutes, principles, and tradition in order to create a new imaginary world based on narcissism (fell in love with his own image) and libertinism (a man who is interested in sexual pleasure and lives immoral life).the whole worlds society will be in danger.
Do not move the ancient boundary stone set up by your forefathers This is a erosion of moral, cultural, and ethical boundaries in modern society:

Menstrual pain,Period pain,Dysmenorheoa
Pain pain pain pain? Ah god i have such a strong period pain... what can i do to stop it...Question asked by maria m in yahhoo answers
painful menstruation means Dysmenorrhea and is classified as primary (from the onset of menstruation without no disease) or secondary (due to some physical cause and usually of later onset and some cause may be there) the Girls before childbearing have this pain, after childbirth this pain subsides automatically,Mostly the pain in young girls is induction to presence of ovulation (which is sure sign of fertility) the girls who have this type of pain in initial period are said to be fertile,To stop this pain hormonal tablates MALA-N or MALA-D(contraceptive pills) may be taken safely and successfully until she do not wants to be pregnant,as aremady for unbearable pain
Other hormonal preparation may be taken from doctors advise
Some may try Depo-provera injections and may say bye bye to periods (this stops the periods but need not to worry) when you will stop the injections which are only taken in injectable form 3 to 4 times per year you will start your periods again.
The time to stop the treatment is the time when you wish to have a issue.until you may use injections with doctors advise once in three month and get rid of painfull periods
For modrate to small amount of pain the pain killer Tablate.Drotavarine or tablate Meftal spas may be taken two to three times a day with water,, other remady may be rest, heating pad to the lower abdomen or back, proper nutrition, aerobic exercise and medication. Nutrition therapy includes a well-balanced diet with an adequate intake of calcium (1000 mg. per day) and fluid intake of sufficient of water each day. Vitamin B6, 50 to 100 mg. each day, may occasionally be helpful , Ans by Dr Ram

Nightly burning hands and feet!? This is driving me crazy. Every night my hands and sometimes my feet fell like they are in boiling water. I can't sleep! By morning they are stiff and sore, clenching and stretching relieves some of the presure. Excercise sets it off too and just getting hot in general. Help! I've gone to and arthritis specialist and she says nothing is wrong with me, she has done all the tests. The only thing that helps is putting them in cool water, feels like heaven. They are also red and feel hot to other people but not sweaty. I sleep in a room with the heat off and only a blanket on my body. Any advice or anybody else have the same problem? Asked by Kitkat in Yahoo answers? Answer Burning feet may be a temporary problem, such as due to athlete's foot Allergy to washing detergent, Dampness in socks/shoes, sensitivities to fabrics or leather dyes. Vitamin Deficiencies But when this symptom occurs over a longer period, it can indicate a more serious disorder and should be evaluated by a doctor. One such cause of chronic burning feet is sensory peripheral neuropathy. This results from damage to the nerves that transmit sensation from the arms, hands, legs and feet to the brain. Causes of sensory peripheral neuropathy include: • Diabetes • Alcohol abuse • Nutritional deficiencies, such as vitamin B-12 deficiency anemia (pernicious anemia) The following medical conditions are some of the possible causes of Burning feet. There are likely to be other possible causes, so ask your doctor about your symptoms. • Athletes foot With athlete's foot, the burning is limited to the area of the fungal infection. Usually it will also be itchy, red, scaling, cracking. Good foot care is the key to battling athlete's foot. The fungus likes to grow in damp places, so change your shoes frequently allowing them to dry out between wearings. Wash and dry your feet after walking. There are various powders and remedies to treat athlete's foot as well. • Allergy to shoes/socks You may be having a sensitivity to the fabric or leather dye in your shoes or socks, or even the detergent used to wash your socks. Vary these to see if this might be the cause. Choose mesh shoes vs. full leather so your feet have a chance to breathe. I have found some insoles to leave my feet feeling hot even in mesh shoes - buy a new insole or swap them from another pair of shoes to see if it is the culprit. Natural fibers are not good for walking - save the cotton socks and the wool socks for other times. Use socks made of Cool-Max and other artificial fibers that wick sweat away from the feet and cool them down. • Vitamin B-12 deficiency • Diabetic neuropathy • Alcohol abuse • Allergy to washing detergent • Dampness in socks/shoes • Smoking • Gout • Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy • Thrombocytopaenia • Thyrotoxicosis • Liver failure • Renal failure Treatment of burning feet is directed at the underlying condition, if known. To help relieve discomfort, try these tips: • Wear socks made of cotton — which allows your feet to "breathe" — rather than synthetic fabrics. • Avoid standing for long periods. • Take a pain reliever when needed. • Bathe your feet and hands in cool water. Medications for burning feet Vitamin tablates 1.Take combination of vitamin B1,B6andB12 for at least 3 months,Which is available by Name of Neurobion forte,Neuromark, and various other names 2 Take a 3 months course of Calcium pantothanate tablate 50 mg regularily Symptomatic(Antiburning) treatment This consists of Gabapantine tablate 300mg at bed time Which is available with combination of Vitamin B12 (mecobalmin) by Name of Neuromark G,Gabamin,Or Gabaneurone and many others are availiable. Chronic gastritis
--- In AskDrRam@yahoogroups.com, "nvdarocha" <nvdarocha@...> wrote:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been suffering for what I now consider to be chronic Gastritis for 10 years. Though I have been taking 20mg Bid of Prilosec and other PPI. I take 100mg of Atenololl Qid for high blood pressuream. I've sopped eating beans. Never ate hot foods or hot peppers. I take beer occasionally. I'm lactose intolerant adn smoke cigaretts(don't know if it matters.) I have been through the care of a family Doctor and a Gastroenterologist in the USm who have put me on the Prilosec. It is my understanding that the treatment is 4 to 6 weeks or doulble if needed) adn have done so more that once. I have gone through triple therapy and have eradicated H. pylori. No matter what I try I continue to have the symptoms and I fear complications such as cancer. I'm only 34 yrs old and I've been told that I'm too young to be experiencing such difficulties. Please advise.
Dear nvdarocha as you asked that you are suffering from chronic gastritis But you did not told about your symptoms of your problem, You are telling about probable diagnosis of your symptoms as your family physician have told and undergoing treatment for the same .
The symptoms of Chronic Gastritis are following, for at least 6 weeks
For the probable diagnosis
* Most commen symptom is Chronic (more then 6 weeks) upper abdominal pain, fullness and discomfort, belching and acid regurgitation which often occur after meals and Hiccups in some cases * Abdominal cramping and pain * Appetite loss, abdominal indigestion * Weakness * Vomiting * Nausea * Fatigue
In Severe cases there may be
* Vomiting blood or coffee-ground like material * Fever * Gastric hemorrhage * * Blood in vomit or stool( black color stools)(a sign that the stomach lining may be bleeding)
Due to (causes of chronic gastritis are following) below given reasons
* Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen Asprine or naproxen, pain killers medicines for long time) * Infection of the stomach with Helicobacter pylori bacteria * Drinking too much alcohol (Mr nvdarocha you takes beer ocaisionaly please stop it) * Eating spicy foods * A form of anemia that occurs when the stomach lacks a naturally occurring substance needed to properly absorb and digest vitamin B12. * Alcohol * Smoking(Mr nvdarocha the cigarette smoking is prohibited for you as you takes cigarette but you doesn't Know whether it matters or not) * Severe infection * Certain diseases, such as megaloblastic (pernicious) anemia, autoimmune disorders, and chronic bile reflux
The Diagnosis of Chronic Gastritis (probable diagnosis) may be made on history of above symptoms and cause for initial treatment purpose and in 90% cases it is accurate
But in rest of 10% cases in spite of treatment the results are fruitless here for confirmation of diagnosis and to exclude other diagnosis upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is essential. This is called Confirmative diagnosis Upper GI endoscopy is performed by gastroenterologist. who visualize the disease by a telescope like instrument (by fibreoptic gastroscope ) and to take a small piece mucosa of diseased area for microscopic examination is done .This step of confirmation of disease is called "endoscopic biopsy"(the facilities has provided the means of obtaining biopsy specimens under direct vision from any part of the stomach). This creates new opportunities for the study of chronic gastritis, and, in particular, its evolution, topographical location, and causal relationships,
This is the only mean of confirmation of Mr nvdarocha you are under diagnosis of Gastroenterologist if the above mentioned treatment is not yielding you may ask your gastroenterologist for Upper GI endoscopy and biopsy if required,
If fasciality is available there, go for Confirmative diagnosis
The treatment of chronic gastritis
Treatment of gastritis varies from person to person and depends on the specific cause.
* For most types of gastritis, reduction of stomach acid is helpful(as you are taking 20mg Bid of Prilosec which is an Omeprazole. Stomach acid is reduced by this proton pump inhibitor now other more effective PPIs are available which may be prescribed also Treatment consists of removing the irritant or the infection. In the case of Helicobacter pylori infection, a doctor may prescribe antibiotics. * Medications are often necessary to relieve symptoms, eradicate an infection such as H. pylori, and prevent or treat complications from gastritis such as an ulcer your doctor will prescribe a regimen of several antibiotics plus some sort of acid blocking drug (a heartburn drug).( As you have already gone through triple therapy and have eradicated H. pylori.) * your doctor will prescribe a regimen of several antibiotics plus some sort of acid blocking drug (a heartburn drug).
* For pain caused by gastritis, Taking antacids and other drugs to reduce stomach acid, which causes further irritation to inflamed areas * Over-the-counter antacids (Maalox, Mylanta, Gelucil MPS,Digene) in liquid or tablet form are a common treatment for mild gastritis. Antacids neutralize stomach acid and can provide fast pain relief. * Medications known to cause gastritis (alcohol and smoking)should be discontinued. Gastritis caused by pernicious anemia is treated with vitamin B12 . * Antacids or a GI thingytail (ie, typically an antacid with an anesthetic such as viscous lidocaine and/or an antispasmodic) may be used therapeutically for symptoms.

Question By sposwal.Dr I have a problem of Hair loss and Greying of Hairs.
Ans
Hair loss and Greying of hairs is caused by many reasons such as
1.Malnutrition taking not proper diet Inadequate nutrition is the main causative factor for hairfall and greying of hair in the lower classes. Sometimes even a partial lack of Bvitamins and folic acid leads to hair fall and baldness. In such cases hair regrows after treatment with vitamins.if the diet is not proper one may take MultiVitamin capsules for at least 3 months, take enough protean diet like milk, egg ,or meat, add onian and Garlic, mustard oil in your diet Lack of vitamins too can lead to hair loss and pre-mature greying of hair. Eating plenty of fruit and vegetables primarily leafy vegetables will help curb hair loss. Spinach (palak) and fenugreek (methi) are strongly recommended for healthy hair. Indian gooseberry (amla) and mangoes are hair-friendly fruit that one must eat in abundance (go easy on the mangoes though).
2. illness, infection, surgery, high fever are the couse of excessive hair fall,in this situation sypmptoms disappears after cure from desease it is temporary loss, which recovers automatically as desease is cured
Chronic diseases like anaemia, cold, flu, syphilis, tuberculosis, tumors and radiation therapy also account for hair loss and baldness.Conditions like psoriasis, dandruff and other fungal infections also cause hair loss considerably.
3. tension ; stress, and other health problems.may affect the hair loss,to prevent this try to live life without stress(Lifestyle modification)
4.Greying hairs Gray hair is supposedly a sign of wisdom. Well, Gray hair is caused when the follicle is unable to add color to the hair or when there is lack of melanin in the body. Melanin is responsible in giving color to the hair and due to the lack of which the hair starts to grey. Grey hair in old days was the sign of reaching mid life or starting with old age. But in today’s life even very young people get gray hair.
the cause of heredity Smoking for early age
and for a person around 40+ it is natural for him to start graying,
Smoking is generally said to be injurious to health so it has to be injurious to your hair too. Certain Illness can also lead to graying or premature ageing of hair. Some drugs can also lead to change of color of hair early. and should not be considered as part of worry Prevention of graying is a difficult issue to handle as gray hair is caused by a lot of factors which may not be under our control. Grey hair due to age is not in our hands. It is a natural process and everybody has to go through it. Gray hair because of heredity is also beyond our control. May be by taking good care, good eating habits and good sleeping habits we could delay the process of graying.
Never having grey hair in life is I would say wishful thinking. Sooner or later everybody has to gray and that’s how we get wisdom, isn’t it?
It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of
abaut200growing new hairs per day =and loosing abaut 200hairs per day
(Growing and losing hairs are equal in number)
However, some people may experience it as a excessive hair loss but the number of hairs remains same since several years the fear that the hair loss may cause baldness is the one of fear in youngsters. many try harmful chemicals.which may cause allergy problems
OTHER COUSES OF HAIR LOSS
Hair loss can affect men, women and children. Other reasons for hair loss in men and women are
Inadequate diet,
Over brushing,
Excessive traction on hairs in girls while Braiding(making Choti)
Severe hair problems may cause anguish. An increase in the numbers of hairs lost daily about 200 hairs a day will be noticeable to the person who may become desperately anxious that he or she is going to become bald.
Perming, straightening, hair dyeing and bleaching ,hot combing, using heated rollers and hot wax inevitably damage the hair.Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp.Once split ends have appeared, it is a good idea to trim off the straggly ends to give a healthy appearance to the hair.
Here a few simple home remedies which can be tried at home to control hair fall.
1. The best treatment is to take a course of vitamins (regular course for 3 months of Multivitamin)known to be effective in promoting hair growth.
2. A diet rich in sulfur(onion, Garlic,Musturd oil) is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair.
3. Rub oil according to your convenience Massage scalp with warm coconut or castor oil twice a week. Massage scalp with finger tips in a circular motion for at least half an hour. Leave on the oil over-night and shampoo the following morning. This prevents hair from becoming dry and prevents dandruff and hair fall by improving circulation and strengthening hair roots. ,in evening time before sleep into the scalp may help in sound sleep also , it increases blood supply to scalp and promotes healthy hairs .on the morning before bath you may rub oil on scalpWring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head.Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well.
4. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea.Massage well and shampoo.
5. Beat two eggs, and add two tablesthingys of water to it. Rinse hair and pour the egg mixture over the hair.Massage the scalp well and leave for ten minutes to fifteen minutes. Then rinse the hair with lukewarm water. 6. Washing hair with a weak solution of salt cleans the scalp, cures dandruff and prevents hair loss.
7. Use vinegar rinse to soften hair.It acts as a good conditioner.
8. Boil three handfuls of celery leaves.Remove the leaves, and add the juice of a lemon to it. Apply and then rinse after some time.
9. Massage with olive oil before going to bed at night and next morning, wash off the hair gently. Regular massage of fresh amla mashed to a paste will do wonders. I am doing b.tech final year and i am away from my home from last 10 year. So it may also effect my body. I also do smoking. i don't want to use that Mass Prouducts. Help me sir -- Ch. Navneet Answer for weight gain When is it OK to gain weight?
There are many reasons why people may need or want to gain weight.
* Older adults often lose weight without meaning to because they have less appetite or they have trouble buying or preparing enough healthy foods.
* If you are very thin, you may think you will look better if you gain some weight. * Athletes may want to build their muscles and gain weight so they can perform better in sports.
Now the question arises
* exactly what to eat to gain muscle (and lose body fat). * Exactly which exercises you must do to build muscle. * And which supplements help you build muscle — as well as which are totally worthless.
Is it easy for everyone to gain weight?
Family history plays a major role in each person's build. If you are healthy but thin and have trouble gaining weight, even when you eat a high-calorie diet, take a look at other members of your family. The genes you inherit from your parents play a strong role in body type. The body can be changed to a certain extent through weight training and changes in diet, but these methods, even when followed strictly, will never turn a marathon runner's body into a linebacker's body.
People who are trying to put weight back on after an illness or surgery usually can gain weight more easily than someone who is naturally thin. What can I do to gain weight?
The average person wanting to gain weight should try to eat foods with high calorie content and larger portions of food. Mild exercise can help to increase your appetite and help you add muscle rather than fat.
The following recommendations can be used by anyone wanting to gain or regain weight. It may be necessary, however, to change them to meet your specific needs. Check with your health care provider or dietitian about this.
* To start, eat about 500 calories more a day than you have been eating. Some people will need to add up to a 1,000 extra calories. Look at the top section of the Nutrition Facts label of packaged foods to see how many calories are in a serving. * Eat snacks throughout the day. Snacking is a big part of successful weight gain. Try yogurt with crunchy cereal added, fruit wafers, graham crackers, crackers with lean cheese, mini sandwiches and burritos, milkshakes(banana shake,Cheeku shake,Badam shake) made with frozen yogurt or ice cream, dried fruits, trail mix, vegetables dipped in salad dressing, and nuts. Mid-morning and afternoon snacks should be nutritious,. Trail mixes contain healthy nuts,(ground nut, walnut, almonds, cashew nut) dried fruits(dates fig etc) and can add healthy calories to your diet. * add calories to your meals by choosing curry and protean rich foods such as cheese vegitable(kadhai paneer,Shahi paneer,Mmutter paneer,Malai kofta), french fries,Halwa of moong dal, suzi Halwa, sweets after meal in vegetarian diet ,In nonveg diet Chicken, mutten, egg curry, soups etc. Choose healthy foods such as baked potatoes, baked chicken and fish, just make your portions a bit bigger.
* Choose higher calorie foods often.
Try to always eat larger-than-normal portions at meals. If you have a poor appetite, it may work better to eat smaller, very high calorie meals and to eat more often. To milk add a quarter cup of powdered milk to add both calories and protein. Carnation instant breakfast, commercial milk flavorings, and protean powder can also boost the calories in milk Protein powders and nutritional supplement drinks can be added as in-between meal snacks if you still need more calories. Some protein powders are flavored and only need added water and some others can be blended with your choice of juice or milk to improve the taste.
* Fat contains more calories than any other food group: 45 calories in just 1 teasthingy. Adding healthy fats, such as plant oils (canola, olive, or peanut oil), soft margarines (look for those with no trans fats), old-fashioned peanut butter (the kind that needs stirring before you eat it), and avocado, is an easy way to add a lot of calories without having to eat a lot more food.in young age for healthy indivisual butter and ghee may be good supplement although dairy products are high in saturated fats. saturated fats can increase cholesterol of middle aged persons and of those who are not on exercise ,but for young person it is good supplement .Foods high in saturated fat include: whole-milk dairy products, chicken ,egg omlet, bacon, sausage, sour cream, butter, high-fat cuts of meat, and many processed snack foods. * Even though you are eating a high-calorie diet, you should try to keep it healthy by including a lot of unprocessed (unrefined) carbohydrates, such as whole grains and fruits, as well as vegetables and lean protein foods such as skim milk products, skinless poultry, fish, egg whites, beans, and low-fat cuts of pork and beef.
What To Eat To Gain Weight
. Healthy fats include omega-3 essential fatty acids sources like tuna, salmon, flax, and walnuts. Good sources of protein include lean meats, fish, poultry, nuts, seeds and legumes. Healthy carbohydrate sources include fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
It may be easier to eat five or six smaller balanced meals per day rather than eating three large meals, especially if you are not used to eating much at one sitting.
Dietary Supplements and Gaining Weight
A high-quality multivitamin and mineral supplement is a good idea to make sure you are getting all of the vitamins and minerals you need. Some people find that their muscle mass increases with protein supplements that contain certain blends of amino acids such as creatine and glutamine. Some people who are very ill may need liquid nutritional preparations that are available through their doctors.
Resistive Exercise To Gain Weight
Exercise is also important for healthy weight gain.
Resistance training exercises such as lifting weights will help to increase your muscle size.and increases appetite, you must start exerciseinitialy20 minits then may be upto 60 minits Resistance training exercise generally involves lifting weights, all or part of one's body weight, or moving the body against some externally imposed resistance such as elastic resistance bands or a strength training machine, i.e., Nautilus machine. Resistance training involves two types of muscular contraction: isometric and isotonic contractions. Isometric, or static, exercise involves muscular contraction without shortening of the muscle or movement of the limb and usually occurs at the beginning and at the end of the range of exercise. Isotonic, or dynamic, exercise involves muscular contraction accompanied by movement of the limb. One set of 10-15 repetitions of each exercise two to three days per week is recommended for adults over age fifty. The amount of resistance can be determined by the amount of weight or resistance that can be lifted comfortably at least 10 times. Resistance training can be done at a health club, gym or at home with the proper equipmenFor more details you may take help from web refrence> Resistance Exercise in Older Adults
Do not DO> Aerobic exercises such as running and stationary bicycling are better for fat loss and excessive aerobic training may cause you to lose more weight. Resistance training can be done at a health club, gym or at home with the proper equipment.
Remember that it can take a while to gain the weight you need, but be patient and continue to choose healthy foods until you reach your goal weight.
To build muscle you must eat the right foods in the right quantities.
If you are not getting at least 2 gram of protein per Kilogram of body weight, then you won't gain muscle, period. Only protein can build muscle tissue!
To achieve 2 gram protean each kg of body weight a 50 kgs person should eat 100 gram of dry proteanit may be obtained from 4 eggs per day or 1 litre of milk or 250grams of meat or 100grams of soyabean=150 grams of any pulse=150 grams of paneer(cheese)
In addition to eating more calories, you also have to eat more often. Eating three meals a day does not cut it! It doesn't provide your body with the constant flow of nutrients and energy it needs to grow.
So, you must increase your meal intake to 6 per day — eating every three hours.
Yes, six meals per day.
Weight measure
Measure your weight per month if you are gaining your weight each month you will get boosting dose to your work and a confidence will develop in you after comparing the results, the rate of weigt gain depends on your workout and diet and it may be 1kg per month to 5kg per month.so keep on measuring until you wants to continue after desired weight gain you should stop saturated fat diet and may adopt other dietery habit to maintain your weight

Wots a good way to loose weight? im 14 and im overweight, im gona go on a diet and do more excersise but is there any other good ways? Tiggyxxx(question asked in yahoo answers by Tiggyxxx
answer >Loss weight safely
In the opinion of 99 percent of nutritionists, including myself, the only effective way to lose weight is to reduce calories-in and increase calories-out. anyone who wants to lose weight and maintain their weight loss should take regular daily exercise, lasting 20-60 minutes depending on their health, fitness and overall commitment to lose weight.
you not only consume fewer calories, but you also learn how to eat a balanced diet based on the food pyramid. Of course you do need to exercise as well. Something as simple as a 30-minute power walk 4-5 times per week will help you to shape-up and burn extra calories. You absolutely have to practice the combination of eating right, fewer calories (smaller servings) and exercise. Few tips to Reduce weight
1.Start by paying attention to what you eat. Cut back on fat(oily and fried food) and sweets and add more fruit, raw vegetables like salads . add exercise (may be Jogging or Brisk walk which will sufficient to raise your heart beat) If you hate to exercise try it for only 15 minutes a day at first, then a 1/2-hour.and if posible do it in morning as well in evening time Keep in mind that while you are exercising you are burning calories and not eating. Also, it will be easier if you chose an activity that you enjoy. Do several workouts a day
While you are watching TV do crunches and leg lifts.use stairs rather then lift develop a habit of not using bike for short distance go by foot
Get moving. You may find that you don't need to cut calories as much as you need to get off your behind. Don't get stuck in the rut of thinking you have to play a team sport or take an aerobics class to get exercise. Try a variety of activities from hiking to cycling to dancing until you find ones you like.
Not a jock? Find other ways to fit activity into your day: walk to school, jog up and down the stairs a couple of times before your morning shower, turn off the tube and help your parents in the garden, or take a stroll past your crush's house — anything that gets you moving. Your goal should be to work up to 60 minutes of exercise every day. But everyone has to begin somewhere. It's fine to start out by simply taking a few turns around the block before bed and building up your levels of fitness gradually.
2. Find a obese friend
It is always good to have support when you are trying to lose weight. Find a friend who wants to lose weight and compare notes, weigh-in together and maybe even have a contest.
3. Eat fewer carbohydrates (sweets) cold drinks Don't buy junk food
When you go shopping, don't go on an empty stomach and you will be less likely to buy junk food. Keep your home 'junk food free' so you won't be tempted to indulge.
Don't eat as much bread and pasta and you will see a difference. Use smaller plates
Trick yourself into believing that you are eating more by using a smaller plate.
Eat five or six meals a day
Eating more frequently smaller amount will keep you from getting too hungry Eat less more often. Many people find that eating a couple of small snacks throughout the day helps them to make healthy choices at meals. Stick a couple of healthy snacks (carrot sticks, whole-grain pretzels, or a piece of fruit) in your backpack so that you can have one or two snacks during the day. Adding healthy snacks to your three squares and eating smaller portions when you sit down to dinner can help you to cut calories without feeling deprived.
4. Set a goal
Set a deadline to lose the weight and write it down. For example, ' By July30/08 I will weigh 50Kgor less'. Put it somewhere you will see it daily.
