There are a few villages in andalucia called Guájar Alto and and Los Guajares. These villages have a history of battles during moorish rule. I was wandering if the village name is just a coinsidence or does it have Gujar history?

Ram Ram Gurjar Bhaio, Thanks, Chouhan Gujar ( Pls mention your full name) for this informatic post. Yes, there are a few villages in andalucia called Guájar Alto and Los Guajares as per my search over net, these villages does't have any relation with us ( Gurjars, Gujjars, Gujjar or gujar) , the pronunciation of names of these villages seems to be related with us . The name Guájar derives from the Arab word Wa-run, which means steep, of difficult access ( In Ref the Geographic location of These villages) These villages have a history of battles during moorish rule and the Moors were eslamic rulers (Moors has referred to several historic and modern populations of Muslim (and earlier non-Muslim)) Pls read the link below for the further information www.visit-losguajares.com/index2.php?option=com_content&do_pdf=1&id=14en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moorswww.costatropicalinternet.com/granada/los-guajares.htmlwww.guajaralto.com/Regards, Krishan Kumar Gurjar
