Shoaib Akhter Kasana and Asif decline retest on B sample
Pakistan's fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar will not challenge the results of a doping test that forced them out of the ongoing Champions Trophy, Shahid Hamid, a member of the tribunal hearing their case, said.
Shoaib, who returned to cricket only last month after missing Pakistan's Test series in England with an ankle injury, said he never cheated in cricket. "I have not knowingly taken any performance enhancing drugs and would never cheat my team-mates or opponents in this way," Shoaib said. Both Shoaib and Asif face a two-year ban, the minimum for a first offence under the ICC's doping rules. However, the PCB said it will take its own decision since the tests were conducted internally.

Dear brother, Yes ofcource Shohaib Akhter is Gujjar from Rawalpindi. His gotra is Kasana. We are proud of him:)  He is also know as " RAWALPINDI EXPRESS" Asif is not gujjar |

Shoaib handed 2-yr ban, Asif banned for one year
Shoaib Akhter is Gujjar but Asif is not.
Karachi, Nov 01: In a major jolt to Pakistan`s World Cup hopes, fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar was on Wednesday banned for two years and fellow pacer Mohammad Asif for one year following their positive tests for banned drugs.
Two-year ban is harsh: Imran Khan
Karachi, Nov 01: Describing as harsh the ban on tainted pace duo Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammed Asif, former Pakistani captain Imran Khan on Wednesday said this would adversely affect the country`s chances in the world cup next year.

It is not sure that Shoib Akhtar gurjar bcoz I ask many of Pakistani gurjars for shoib but they tells they are not sure about it. I want to clear it that he is gurjar or not.

THERE IS DOUBT FOR SHOAIB AKHTAR BUT MUHAMMAD ASIF IS A GUJJAR ITS 100% CORRECT.
I HAVE A CUTTING OF NEWSPAPER IN WHICH HIS NAME IS ASIF GUJJARR. THAT WAS HIS EARLY STAGE. BEFORE GOING TO AUSTRALIA HE USED TO WRITE GUJJAR WITH HIS NAME.
IF SOMEONE WANT PROOF I CAN SEND HIM THE CUTTING OF THE
NEWSPAPER.

Hello,
Once i was told by Dr. Touseef Razaq that Shoaib is also Gujjar . Dr. Touseef is gujjar and his father is also doctor in Lahore. Touseef is former doctor of Pakistan team, best friend and personal doctor of Shoaib Akhtar.

I AM WORKING AS UDC IN ATTOCK OIL REFINERY,MORGAH, RAWALPINDI. MUHAMMAD,FATHER OF SHOAIB AKHTER WORKED IN THIS REFINERY AS WORKER AND THEN PLANT OPPERATOR. HE LIVED IN DHOK NAWAZ A VILLAGE NEAR MORGAH.
I KNOW HIM VERY WELL AND HE IS GUJJAR.
I DONT KNOW WHAT TYPE OF PROOF AND AUTHONTICATION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR?

'Rawalpindi Express' delighted to be back on track
Pakistan's enigmatic fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar Tuesday said it was a "big relief" to have his name cleared of dope charges and thanked the cricket board for giving a chance to him to fight his case.
"I am delighted at being cleared. It is a big victory and relief to have my name cleared of taking performance enhancing drugs which I have never done in my life," he said in Karachi.
