In the above table I have given the list of gurjars who took part in the revolt of 1857.There were thousands of gurjars whose name’s should be added to this list.The Gurjars of Tanwar gotra of mehrauli village made a courageous effort in the revolt.All the childrens who were below 10 years of age survived rest all Gurjar men of this area were killed.The Khatanas of Sohna area were hanged on the eve of Diwali in 1857 by King Ballu of Ballabgarh as he was fighting on the behalf of East India Company against the Gurjars.After this incident people of these villages stopped celebrating Diwali.I would request to all the members of this forum that if they have any more information regarding Revolt of 1857 plaese share it with us

Sorry friends i want to correct one mistake ,the festival on which brave khatana gurjars were hanged was Rakshabandhan and not diwali
