u wana knw abt khattana gujjars well i hav little bit knowledge but m very sure abt it ." we khattana are race of RAJA KHATTANA they r five bros after there fathers death his bros started roits n then he was shaltered by grt sufi saint HAZRAT ALI HAJVERI known as DATA SAHAB in lahore then he embraced islam and new khattana community is muslim ALHAM DU LILLAH.

Hi I have many people from my village back home in Kashmir(POK) who are Khattana I also know many bania gujar. We are all related in our village and we can all ways find some link evenif its a long streach.

I dont have much knowledge with regards to gujar history but I have been able to trace my family tree upto 300 years with the help of elders and they didnt know about gujar history either. I have found Gujars always married Gujars.

All I know is that my vallage was under threat from raja's(rajpoots)
and bawani's were the village residents, they invited the chouhans for support from a place called patwar and chouhans then lived amongst bawannis till now.

I will be speaking to other cuzins and khatans to see what Info I can gather.
