Hi guys
I tried to change a bit in Gurjarsonline Info center.So please let me know how is it?
Please advice me one more thing.Should i make it nesessary to login to see forum contents.It means members or new guys need to login or register first then only then can access forum contents.

may be u name of members online shud me in the column showin the status report of memebers online
and ys u need to make users enter more information while registering coz they r not introducing themselves

Hi Manvinder,
Its good that you are changing. But pls don't change the headline which read as "Last 10 post" it was good bcs one could immed connect to whats hot topics these days on the site.
And don't make login compulsory to see contents lets every one see what is there but if any one wants details then make login compulsory.

Regards Manvinder Adhana Hello Mr Adhana, I have a suggestion,: In the forum only those posts are highlighted which are posted on the same day. For instance, am checking the posts after Weekend, so i've to kinda struggle in order to see which all posts are new. though there's an Option for the latest posts but i think there should be somthing different and better than this. for ex : if am logging in after 2 days then all the posts which were posted in those 2 days, should be highlited. and this should vary from user to user, perhaps you are logging in after 1 hour then if there's any new post then that should be highlighted. therefore, this way it will make it easier for the users to check all the latest posts. PS : Sorry, i know it's tad wacky, but i think it's better. Rest up to you! Anju Bhati (ab) |

Hi gaurav and anju
How r u doing?Well i revert the changes.but i add couple of things at this momnet.
1.In the "News" section up there now it will show Welcome to the new member who joined recently.
2.There is new option "Recent News" here it will update members on upcoming events.
3. Now it will also show how many members have been visited the site in 24 hrs with their name.
I hosted this board on another server.So i have certain limitations when i do modification. i will do whatever i can for making it more attractive.

I think, anyone can see the fourem Highlights however to view detail contents He/She have to login first. and in case of new user (non registered members) have to register first.
by viewing highlights curicity increases........and this curicity will help us to increase the members.........
Like the topic "Current job Opening " if highlight is ten new jobs.......
that was an example only.

I m Praveen Chauhan and i hav one problem abt my account. When i give my user name and password then it shows me guest and not a member. I know my user name and password very well. Then what is this problem?

Hi,
I would like to suggest that we should add Blog section to the site so that we can express our views freely... and any one can post the message easily.. and look and feel of the site also needs some attention.. i know that Manav alone cannot take the burden but it is on all of us specially IT guys who can join hands to give it a face lift.. not in terms of look and feel but in matter too.. i am looking for ward to post some PDF files of the Gujjar History books and will be able to do that after diwali hope so and i will also post regulary the stuff needed to guide our fresh collgue pass out for making their way to success in IT industry..
Manav.. i would like to know the procedure to easliy upload the stuff to the site.. hope this will not create a mess..
