Mazhar Bhai salaam AlaiKum,
I was hibernating, may be God wanted me to rest for sometime so that I may invest my energy today. Mazhar bhai, I will try to fetch the book by Rana Ali Hassan Chauhan in India. If its not readily available I will ask for your help. We really need to study all good material and gather it into a concise form. This concise material will be made available online, in printed format & CDs. Mazhar bhai only a handful o gujjars are aware of Our History, only a few have the fire within to dig it out, only a few care to share it. We will formulate a small core-team for this task. Today it may seem herculian but we will prove its not. I will ask for help of all the gujjars, will ask you, A.P.Singh ji and others to help us out. This is the only way to rise and shine again.
Philhaal ke liye khuda-hafiz
Brothers we hit the first mile stone yesterday. Yesterday for the first time a samll online group of Gujjars who are inclined to do something for their community, came out of virtual world into real world. Yes we hosted a meeting at Gurjar Bhavan, Kotala, Mayur Vihar. It was an experience, I am short of words to describe. People are doing what we were planning online, we offered a helping hand.
- There are gujjars who are studying the material available to offer a written-representation to 3 member committee in jaipur for ST issue.
- We are planning to collect some Photographic/Video evidences to strenghten our claim in rajasthan.
- Agreed upon helping our brothers in J&K and Himachal to prepare for civil services and other jobs. As they are already in ST category we can derive better result from there.
- Agreed upon Educationally-Parenting about 10 meritorous kids. (who need assistance)
- Formulating method and apparatus for Common Communication Platform. This platform will enable quick information and to a better extent. Will help guys who are seeking advices/Help for jobs/career/admissions/studies.
- Organising counselling sessions in NCR (for the time being) to assist students choose better careers.
Will keep you all informed regarding tthe developments.

You are most welcome to India. I would have loved to be your host but I live in Noida. No problem we have a decent Gurjar Bhavan in Delhi. You let me know the details of your visit. I will get in touch with the management of Gurjar Bhavan and do the needful. In a recent meeting I was apprised of Usman Gujjar. Thanks for the book in advance. I don't believe in paying in cash I pay in kind to my family members (all gujjars). I will visit the site refered by you and will try to do better for my community.

Its been long writing to you. I hope you are healthy, happy and prosperous. Thanks for the docs and info. I have downloaded those and will be going through them shortly. I surfed this site last night. I was looking for some info on the recommendations and judgement for inclusion of Gujjars from J&K and Himachal to Schedule Tribe status. I need the information desperately to pass onto our Gujjar brothers who are preparing a written presentation for High Level Committee constituted by Rajasthan Govt. Last date is 16th of July. But in order to compile and draft we need it latest by 14th July. If anyone in touch with you can help us with this please get it done. Time span for the verdict to come is so small that we cannot even file applications under RTI. You will be amazed to know that out of all the Districts in Rajasthan where Gujjars mark their presence 23 DCs nibbed negative report for inclusion of Gujjars of Rajasthan in ST.
Brother this fight will not end whatever will be the verdict of the High Level Committee. If its in our favour we will try hard to help our brothers to reap the fruits of ST quota and if its against us we will get the info out in public through RTI. We will ask Govt. of India, when 5 castes i) Meena, ii) Sansi, iii) Mev, iv) Kanjar & v) Gujjar were notified as criminal tribes by British & same were denotified by Govt. of India. How come 4 of them are ST today but not fith one. Why this partiality? We are not asking for this status in whole of India. We are asking for this in Rajasthan in addition to J&K and Himachal.
We Gujjars are blessed with this turning point, we will not let it go waste, we will make this a mile stone.

kunwar bro...
we really need gurjars like u to uplift our community...this is what I had been talking about all these days and got in fights with mazhar and others...st status should be given to only gurjars of rajasthan, himachal, and j&k as gurjars in these states are financially and socially backward....and im not at all biased as im from UP...so kunwar we should continue this fight whether the committee formed in rajasthan agrees or not...we shall not rest till justice is given to our needy brothers...keep it up guys

maine aapko sorry isliye nahi bola tha ki hum dono ki soch nahi milti...main abhi bhi boht atal vishwaas k sath maanta hu ki reservation sirf financially aur socially backward logo ko milna chahiye, chahe vo gurjar ho ya pandit....haan rajasthan k gurjar financially aur socially boht backward hai isliye unhe jaroorat hai reservation ki...but delhi aur UP(jaha ka main khud hu) k gurjars politically aur economically kafi strong hai....aur bhai aap india kab aa rahe ho...main aapse milna chahta hu...im in dubai right now...im cumin back on the 19th of july....

I like to discuss this issue point wise:- Why ST status to gurjars ? After India got independence the socially and economically deprived casts were identified by a Committee called Kaka Kalekar Committee in the year 1951. Gurjars and Meenas both were recommended by the committee. Meenas were included but Gurjars were not. Despite the fact both the casts were having same social and economic standard. Britishers put Gurjarsand Meenas both in Criminal tribe categeroy. Gurjars were the one who kept fighting the Britishers and they were not happy with them. Don't fight with Meenas! It is a politically motivated conflict please donot allow them to succeed. First 4 days of the Rajasthan disturbances were not having problem from the Meenas. Both the communities having no problem but all of sudden the Sindhia government instigated them to fight with Gurjar. Sindhia Government is the biggest failure. Sachin pilot also kept mum just to save his Lok Sabha seat. Very bad to him. Meenas and Gurjar were living in harmony as brothers , restore it back donot drift away from the main issue. Solution! Deduct 5% of OBC quota and add it to ST and then include Gurjar in ST. ALL GURJAR LEADERS SHOULD CAME FORWARD TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE SO MANY HAVE DIED AND THERE SEEMS TO BE NO END TO IT. Request to all Gurjar politicians especially Sachin Pilot, Avtar Bhadana, Kalu Ram Gurjar, Gurjar MLAs of all the states --Please set intrests aside and work for the community honestly.
