DISCUSSION ON RESERVATION ISSUE
DEAR GURJAR BROTHERS,
According to Indian mythology there are three main powers to control the
whole universe. These powers are Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh represented
by Sarswati (knowledge) Laxmi (wealth) and Durga (strength to
conquer).They are worshiped always by any person, community, and
country. When any of them neglected these powers became powerless. In
India Emperor of aryavarta, Ashoka the great was in the extreme power by
Sarswati (knowledge) Laxmi (wealth) and Durga (strength to conquer) . in
the post kaling war period he through the sword with the thought That
violence is unnecessary and should we avoided for imperialistic reason , perhaps this was the first civilized thught in ancient world now it is applicable in every field .Later on Indian kings reduced their army leading to the downfall of India because they neglected Durga (strength to conquer) .Later on attracted by Indian Wealth, Arabian invaders Ghazni and Ghaznavi Came to India and with a small force they robbed too much wealth (Laxmi)
And Burnt many universities like Taxila and Nalanda (Sarswati the Knowledge). After that all above three powers gone, we became powerless.Previously the country was known as ‘SONE KI CHIDIYA’. Before Year 2000 india was said to be ‘The country of beggars and snake wranglers’. Now our country is in the top most of developing countries. how did we achieved it. In our country the freedom struggle was not a matter of some years it was a long journey, nobody speculated for freedom when it is going to be achieved. But everybody was sure that we will achieve. No doubt we achieved it by non violence, but it does not mean that we should not have power, The non violence is not the weapon of cowerd, it is just show of man power to seek justice, the offender understands by the time and withdraws the injustice. In Hindu mythology every god and goddesses are provided one hand with weapon and other hand with blessings. The meaning is simple offender always respects nonviolence of powerful .today’s power is vote power (Durga) it is capable to provide answer of any demand. The saraswati (Education ) and laxmi (Wealth)are to be earned for the welfare of community.
Now question is how to come back from present situation, the answer lies that until we are not interested nobody is going to help us.Althogh the second attempt of ‘araksham sangharsh samiti’ in Rajasthan is unsuccessful due to EGO problem among gurjar leaders, which were victimized by BJP Govt.
But it has taught a lesson to gurjar brothers to come out of internal conflicts. Everybody noticed, what happened in Rajasthan the gurjar community is in try to be united but still engaged in self ego.
Many question’s comes in every body’s mind about present reservation issue which are.
(1) May the gurjers get reservation in future or not?
(2)What we have achieved and what we have lost from this movement?
(3) Should we continue it in future?
(4) Is the demand justified?
(5) What should be the future strategy?
(6) Is reservation necessary for development of community?
(7)If there any other option available for development of community?

(1) May the gurjers get reservation in future or not?
Sure we will get it, gurjar community is very much egoistic they will die but never will accept defeat, they have not accepted defeat in history till date (GUR >defeating JAR >enemies).If they would have compromised in past British period they were not awarded ‘criminal tribe award’ by Britishers and now would have enjoyed today. Starting of this movement is not decisive, important is journey towards it ,that will lead to the unity ,and in democracy united vote decides future of any political party the political parties are dependent always on united votes,
For the votes parties can change like chameleon (GIRGIT) they can do anything for vote .best example is BSP in UP which have changed its knowen and famouse slogan ‘TILAK TARAAJU AUR TALWAR INKO MARO JOOTE CHAAR’ to get Brahman votes ,next slogan is " HAATHI NAHIN GANESH HAI BRAHMA VISHNU MAHESH HAI"What a fun whole motive and manifesto changed for votes. The party which was based mainly hatered politics for upper castes changed towards Brahman affinity.
Another example is ‘Shahbano case’ for her divorce compensation shahbano (Muslim lady) filed a case against her husband and on decision her husband was ordered by honorable supreme court for compensatin, because this was not in ‘HADISH’ (Muslim religion book), all Muslims were united against supreme courts order, and the provision was changed for Muslims by constitutional amendment .Hence everything is possible in democracy for votes
(2)What we have achieved and what we have lost from this movement?
The issue attracted other communities to know about gurjers,
our leaders never talked about gurjers after observing huge gathering they started to talk about with confidence .
Many of gurjar brothers got the chance to see where we stands, after that they are with self confidence and pride.
The major factor which is responsible for unity, came out as a single motive as “desire for Upliftment in community” the path towards target is not searched till we didn’t had started 1st step .now started will complete the journey.
The royal community will never be give up by its nature till achievement of success.
We have lost some of our courageous gurjers never to be forgotten by community.
Police cases are filed against many of gurjar brothers, as this is the strategy of every govt to pressurize. The withdrawal of cases is used as cash by govt. to any of movements at the time of negotiation. Moreover this is double blade sword it may threaten other members of movement, to stop the movement, while on other hand it is the only matter to restart the movement. The 1st effect to be threatened do not apply to brave gurjers, they can not be threatened even by death as this is proved in 1st phase of movement,
The fear of reputation to be considered as defeated will again restart the 3rd phase of movement on arrival of chopara committee report, provided it comes on the given time.
Other considerable thing, did we have waste our time in jails? Provably not right, gurjers are closer to each other after coming out of jail 1st time they think about community collectively and now full of Zeal about concerns.
(3) Should we continue it in future?
YES! We should. This issue is the only issue at present time. To bring closer the community member’s .because single motto is one of important factor for unity. Other important thing is that be deserve for it according to constitution of India The procedure for the classification of a scheduled tribe is given in Article 342 of the Constitution. It states >342. Scheduled Tribes.—(1) The President may with respect to any State or Union territory, and where it is a State, after consultation with the Governor thereof, by public notification, specify the tribes or tribal communities or parts of or groups within tribes or tribal communities which shall for the purposes of this Constitution be deemed to be Scheduled Tribes in relation to that State or Union territory, as the case may be.
(2) Parliament may by law include in or exclude from the list of Scheduled Tribes specified in a notification issued under clause (1) any tribe or tribal community or part of or group within any tribe or tribal community, but save as aforesaid a notification issued under the said clause shall not be varied by any subsequent notification.
Pursuant to this the Constitution Scheduled Tribes Order, 1950 was formed which contains the list of tribes. The Gujjars wanted to be included in that list
(4) Is the demand justified?
YES, we are in worst condition at present. Please see my previous message ‘do gurjers deserves for ST status, the discrimination of Britishers was justified as they considered gurjers as enemy, but in independent India we are discriminated to be non educated poor and powerless .this refrence is taken from>

Britishers declared us as a criminal tribe and after freedom of
nation we were not treated as freedom fighter among Indians the govt of

Non violent movement and ballet power (vote power) undoubtly must be the way of movement .Rather than the bullet of fire arm the ballet of vote is more powerful .the wave of movement by non violence is recognized after Mahatma Gandhi .if he would have from violence group britishers would have crushed the movement before he raised against britishers.As you know Chandrasekhar azad,,Bhagatsingh, rajguru ,ashafaqulla khan ,all were product of nonviolence movement, if they would have not joined the meeting of mahatma Gandhi how they were able to know about, why to through the britishers out of India .After knowing the facts everybody chooses its own way how to solve the problem. This acts like media to raise the voice against unjustice. Once the problem identified it may be tackled accordingly.
But in case of violence, the violent person may be right for his own issue always disliked by others, and are defamed by injured as a terrorist or criminal. Once declared criminal or terrorist the sympathy of others even his own community that may be helpful to seek justice always converts into hate. The violence against anybody may not be justified it is a crime even done for seek of justice .how can be a crime (violence) justified to seek justice it is always condemned by civilized persons.

A group or groups deserve reservation if their representation in the mainstream - in education and jobs - is disproportionately less than its population. Positive discrimination gets moral justification if this lack of representation is due to historical reasons of caste stratification.”
Our representation is about nil, without it how can be expect for our upliftment .the basic infrastructure is not favorable to remote living gurjers
7)If there any other option available for development of community?
The reservation issue is political issue provided it fulfilled . The intellectual” s should come out to make all possible efforts for upliftment of community. I will discuss this very important issue in detail in next message please provide your valuable suggestion on the issue of other options
